Oh the pain…
Monday, October 18th, 2010For the past 3 days I have been suffering from almost non-stop headaches and before you all ask, no they are not alcohol related, ok, maybe the first one was… Much to my dismay I succumbed to the pressure and took medicine, as nothing I was doing was was making it any better. Sadly, the medication did very little also to alleviate the pain, so today I thought I would try a new tactic and go for a massage.
One and a half hours later, I have been twisted, poked and proded and I feel somewhat like I have been put through a meat grinder and I am in no way looking forward to the pain I am bound to be feeling tomorrow morning. It is hard to imagine that a 5 foot, barely 50kg lady could inflict so much torture onto someone almost twice her size, but believe me, she did and I think she may have enjoyed it a little too much…
But it is with great pleasure that I can now announce that I am no longer suffering from my dreaded headache, yippee!! I am not sure if I am going to be game enough to go for a second round of torture any time soon, as I can already feel the pain setting in, but for anyone out there with a persistent headache, give me a call, I know someone, that with pain, can take your pain away… One of lifes great ironies…
